Changed your mind or ordered the wrong item
We offer store credit or a refund on items within 90 days. This applies to unopened items as well as opened items with at least 70% remaining contents. Original shipping costs are not refundable.
- Return window: 90 days from delivery
- Opened consumables: at least 70% remaining, sealed to prevent leaks
- Packaging undamaged; ideally in the original packaging
- Use an additional outer box for the return
- Return postage and insurance are your responsibility
- Always include tracking
Shipments marked “postage due” will be refused. Items that don’t meet the conditions may be rejected.
Items damaged during transport
Report transit damage within 48 hours of receipt to support@inkhero.co.uk and include photos and your order number.
Faulty items
Covered under EU consumer law. We offer replacement/refund/store credit for up to 3 years.
- Do not dispose of suspected faulty items — a return may be required
- Before returning, check: correct item, clean/align the printhead
- Consumables not found to be faulty will not be credited
- Exclusions: misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, modification, transport damage due to your own handling
Note (cartridges):
- No expired/empty/altered products
- Seal carefully to prevent leaks
- Coverage limited to the invoiced value of the goods
All other situations
We assess each case individually. Please share as much information as possible (photos/video) for a speedy resolution.
Lost orders and wrong addresses
No tracking activity? Wait up to 5 working days and then contact us — we’ll open a trace.
- If the claim is accepted: replacement or refund
- If tracking shows “delivered” to the correct address, we unfortunately cannot open a claim
- If returned to our warehouse: we’ll contact you to arrange re-delivery
When are replacements/refunds processed?
Once received and inspected, we’ll issue a replacement or refund — typically within 5 working days.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method (allow an additional 3–4 working days to appear on your card statement)
- No exchanges/refunds before the item has reached us
Returns outside the policy or without prior contact
Held for a maximum of 14 working days; without a response we may recycle or dispose of the goods.
Distance selling rules
You may cancel your online order within 7 working days (excluding weekends/bank holidays) after delivery for a full refund. Additional delivery charges are not refundable.
Contact us (email/letter/phone 0161 241 5572) quoting your order number. Return goods by registered post — return postage is at your cost. Items must be unopened and in resaleable condition. Refunds are issued within 90 days of receipt.
